Standard injection molding targets general-purpose tolerances typically around ±0.1–0.2 mm, which suits most housings, panels, and structural components. Precision molding targets tighter tolerances using more controlled tooling, process monitoring, and material selection.
Yes. Mold surface finish, gate design, and process parameters determine cosmetic quality. We offer texturing, polishing, and SPI finish grades. Cosmetic expectations should be defined early because they affect tooling cost and cycle time.
We use masterbatch color matching with documented color references. For critical color requirements, we recommend providing a Pantone reference or physical sample and approving a color shot before production begins.
Standard shipments include dimensional inspection reports, material certificates, and packing lists. First article inspection reports (FAIR) are available on request. For regulated industries we can discuss PPAP, IMDS, or RoHS documentation.
Tooling built to your specification is your property. We store and maintain it for your production runs. If you move production elsewhere, the tool can be transferred. Tooling maintenance and periodic polishing are part of the ongoing service.
